Just came across this. Jay Leno did a segment on Piaggio's MP3. Best part is just after the 3 minute mark.

I've always wanted one. Prices are slowly coming down on the older ones.

Me too. But I couldn't afford the extra $3000 or so for one over the BV200 I got instead. But hopefully some day when I've cleared off all charges and ramped up my savings for any more wagon-emergencies (most recent, front brakes, sigh), I'll get one then! Except I seriously doubt I'll ever try a stoppie on it! >'Kat

howdy, i'm pretty sure i'd like it which is why i won't even consider test riding one. my bv 350 will just have to do. it was nice to see the non-performing side of jay leno.
lotsa miles and smiles to ya ken

Went to Europe last year and the MP3 is probably the most popular scooter in Paris. THOUSANDS of those things buzzing the streets. Kind of cool to see.

And without the need to balance you can tear off a piece of Baguette and enjoy it with coffee while waiting for the light to change.
