The Xingyue ITA 150 has the 123mm variator. 12gram rollers. I was going to try an up or a down weight, but all of my rollers and sliders are for 18x14.
The Xingyue uses 20x15. Of course.
Since I have no spare to try, I need an educated guess what weight to order. I don't want to order 3 or 4 sets. I have EFI, 1" header and muffler, and a pod filter. I should be able to get more top speed. two examples - Long shallow downhill: 7700RPM @ 52.5MPH air temp 46°F Big downhill : 8151RPM @ 54.5MPH air temp 72°F - often traffic slows me down on this downhill - stop light at the bottom. Conversely, I need to climb this hill going to work, sometimes from 0mph due to the stoplight at the bottom.

I would try 13gram sliders a mix of 12 and 13 would probly work pretty good i have run that mix in my 150 and it did pretty good but my rpms was lil high so i ended up with a 13 and 15 mix keep in mind im running a over size variator. by the way is a great upgrade i gained over 5 mph in that change alone. once i got the weight rt in that variator i ended up with 10mph more than i had. they like heavy weights from what i have seen on all the bikes i have installed them on. hope all this helps

YEa, a nice rpm, but not enough top end. I pulled the variator and realized they were larger than the pile of rollers I have. I managed 66mph (@ 10krpm) down a huge hill with a huge tail wind last year, same variator, stock air-box and exhaust, 110 jet I think. I should be able to get more from the Xingyue since the intake and exhaust are upgraded.
I need to work out the Znen variator - put 12 g sliders in. from the 17g rollers. Need to go and check that clutch. It is still jerky at 1500rpm idle, I thought it was the heavy rollers.

The Xingyue is now EFI, with a 1" header and muffler, and a pod filter. Data shows it is running very well.
Znen is pod filter, 1" header and shorty muffler, 118 jet and two spacers for the needle. Haven't looked at the plug yet.

Jeepsteve92xj,
You're getting virtually IDENTICAL performance to mine Including the 10-grand tailwind downhill... LOL! I'm beginning to think we could experiment with roller weights forever... I got great top speed with 13 gram rollers, but lost way to much acceleration and hill-climbing ability. 12 gram rollers gave great low end, but cut the top speed to about 45 mph. A mix of 3 12's and 3 13's worked best, giving me the same exact results you have now. (My Xingyue is the 13" wheel version).Alleyoop recommended trying 13 gram SLIDERS which I bought, but have not had time to try... I have a feeling the sliders may be the best answer since their design allows them to go WAY down to fully open the variator, yet also go WAY up to fully close the variator so their full weight gets used to obtain the highest top speed. That seems like a good design to me. The Dr. Pulley advertising promotes BOTH better low end, AND higher top speed because of that. Hope they're right... I'm anxious to see how they work, but am too buried with other necessary stuff to get them in for a little while. I'll make a post as soon as I can get them tested. I surely do like the idea of your EFI setup! I've ridden some Vespas with fuel-injection and they run GREAT. No reason (except cost... LOL!) that the same tricks can't be applied to our Chinese rides! Ride safe!Leo in Texas

I found 20x15 sliders on ebay - 9g to 21g DR PULLEY SLIDING ROLLERS 20x15 For APRILIA,HONDA,KYMCO,MALAGUTI,PIAGGIO - (wish I had that much horsepower!) -about 32 bucks shipped. Rollers are only a little less. Parts for scooters sliders are about 36 shipped. Rollers 8 bucks less.
