Does anyone have a brilliant idea for an adjustable airbox inlet? I've seen many variations of poking holes but they all seem like they are a permanent change.
Any thoughts on a mod that would be easily adjustable and reversible?

I drilled 5 holes in mine. You can block off any of them with duct tape, both outside and inside. You drill 3/8" holes on the underside of the cover, and yhey are not visible.

I'll have to come up with something clever. With Vespa style bodywork I can't even get the lid off without removing the rear shell. Don't want to keep doing that more than necessary.

Just do something like the adjustable vent on a BBQ grill. Round inlet with holes or a slider bar, screw through the center. Even attach a connector rod so you can control it while riding. Seems simple enough....and cheap. ^)

That's kind of what I'm thinking. Just need to sort out how to make it secure enough that it doesn't move around due to vibration.

Use a manual choke of some sort maybe you can find just the right size complete with butterfly and cable. If you dont have a snorkel, make it from plastic pipe.
