So, someone stole my bicycle, my van has been doa for almost a year and many of you know my scoot died at the ripe young age of 6500k. In my lack of transportation i finally bit the bullet and went to the local scoot shop and bought a 52mm bbk, big valve head, cam, and 44mm stroker. Wow is this a new animal! So much faster it has now been dubbed the red rocket.
Nice to be back and scootin along again.

Well i have 100 miles on the stroker and i love it. It is being held back alot right now though. I got a new upjetted carb with the stroker but it is stock size. They threw in a cheapo cone filter for free but it fit like poo and got run over by my back tire. Right now im running the stock airbox until i can devise a way to mount a uni so it dont get soaked. I can feel it wanting to breathe. By the way, what should i set my vales at? Im using the beer can trick right now.

I go .004 and .005, however, I don't know if it same for the 52mm kit. I would assume so.

I was luckily on my way down to the shop for a new bendix bushing so the electric worked again. That last kick started it though. I guess i gotta get out thed dremel and grinder now.
