Is there anything that knocks the voltage regulator out? Several weeks ago, my headlights got very dim, so I checked voltage at the bulb and was getting about 2V. I swapped a used regulator in and it worked fine or a few weeks, and now I'm back to dim lights. Battery is charging fine. Getting a we regulator tomorrow, just curious if there is something that could be frying it? Thanks in advance.

I want to say its a 4 pin, but I'll double check when I get home. The used one I plugged in was shaped a little different, but had the same connector.

And another. The one that is in there now is slightly smaller in size, but I think that is just the cooling fins on it. Attachments:

No, and I thought the same when I pulled it. I am only about 3 blocks from the ocean, so that may have something to do with it. I'm also somewhere around 15-16,000 miles and the bike is always outside.
