I was wondering about these two kits, can the stock starter on the scoots turn these over fine or is there trouble with them and the starter? second question, i've heard that some people have overheating issues with big bore kits? would the 52mm kit have overheating issues? in the summer it can sometimes get near 100 degrees but mostly between 32 and 80 throughout the year.
and one last question, would either of these kits cause abnormally fast wear on the drivetrain parts?

I have a scoot with a 50mm kit and one with a 52mm kit both start with the e start, the scrappy 52mm kit is way faster then the ebay 50mm kit, even with two base gaskets on the 52mm

My philosophy was I was making my scooter more reliable and sustainable by getting a 50mm BBK. On the stock motor I was running WOT 98% of the time, now it's maybe 60%. Much easier on the entire drivetrain. I want to do the 52mm kit next time though.

Overheating because of a BBK is something that I have not heard about, unless the plastic covers are not put back on around the jug. Some folks have taken them off because they can be a pain to put back on. The covers serve to route air from the fan around the jug to aid in cooling. With any air cooled motor you don't want it to sit and Idle to long.
