My wife brought this to my attention. Some things we cover somehow seem to be a little "controversial"... Especially LED headlights it seems. If something bugs you, please remember this isn't a frat-house or locker-room... and it's NOT an outlaw-biker clubhouse. We have a goodly number of lady members, and, our wives and kids read these posts.
Not ragging on anyone, just an observation, and a friendly reminder.

NO! It's NOT you... HONEST! I was referring to a reply by a new member, calling the originator of a thread some pretty nasty names while verbalizing his opinion. I felt it's bad enough to be THAT opinionated on a public forum, but to use that language about someone you don't even know was pretty rude. My wife saw the post and asked me if this kind of trash-talk is "OK" on the site, mentioning that it's supposed to be "family-friendly". I've never seen anything objectionable from you... Heck, we're even "e-mail pals"... LOL! Sincerely, Leo |

I saw it! Chalk it up to newbie ignorance. I guess it's alright to be that way on other forums, but I kinda thought it was rude and trashy. Unfortunately, with a lot of the younger generation, that's pefectly normal and acceptable. NOT BY ME  I'm with you all the way.Keep it clean and civil. |

Beat you to it Alley and I do agree totally. I have tried to run a censored word list option that is available here and every time I think I've got it where these kind of words won't show up another one hits that I didn't think of or forgot.
It's a shame to have to do this, I hate censorship but I do believe that all will agree that anyone should be able to read here including kids and not have to be subject to bad language and when you think of it to have any conversation it's not necessary.
Should someone see bad language please report it and we'll promptly correct it.

Yeah, it's the times... Even our Vice President had to use "the F-word" in public, in approval of un-constitutional legislation. You can ask today's generation to rise above their role-models, but THAT is asking a lot. Ride safe, play nice...  Leo in Texas |

I've always thought I've used pretty respectful language--- except right before we made the move from scootdawg. I woke up the next day and was glad my posts were deleted--- I was hammered and mad at the world that night. Not sure who all saw it, but accept my apology if you did--- especially the admins, lol.  |
