On another forum I frequent there was a thread about what you would ride if you could buy anything you wanted. Like if you won the lottery (I never will because I don't play but you get the picture) Would you keep your current scoot modify it or would you get something else a motorcycle maybe or what?
I realized when I thought about it, that all I would do is possibly paint mine (the same color actually) and complete all the needed body work. I would also fix everything. I have nearly everything perfect but I wouldn't mind having the neutral switch working (very hard to find BTW) and an upgraded headlight. I have my dream bike. It's exactly what I have wanted for a long time. It's green, properly loud, and moves rapidly. I love the way it handles and there is just something about Italian engineering and style. I really would like to keep this one for a long time. I really have enjoyed every bike I have owned but they were always not exactly what I wanted just what I could afford/find at the time. This time I held out for exactly what I wanted and I am quite happy. I might spend some money on gear, there is a couple of $700 helmets I might like to own and a hand sewn custom fit set of bike matching leathers would be sweet I also would set up a proper shop with a lift, welder, compressor, etc. As far as bikes go though I am very happy for the first time I feel content and I don't think I'm shopping any more. I still appreciate other bikes and may add to the stable but the Vespa will stay.
So what do you think? What's your dream bike? If money was no issue what would that one bike be. You can mod it however you want but what is that ONE dream bike for you?
