So here we are once again with another minor issue on the 2004 Eton Beamer PN2 for a while now my scoot has been slowly leaking a mixture of un-burnt 2T oil and Premium gas i have attached photos for viewing (i have not dismantled the carb yet) or anything i figured i would ask around a bit before i go head in on this i need to get it fixed up, my land lord is not too happy about what it is doing to the cement and is threatening to keep my 1400$ in deposits if i do not put a stop to it and clean of the area Not to mention it could be a potential hazard for me or the scoot for worst case both.. The mixture is leaking from the bottom of the Air filter housing when using a foam K&N Style filter with a plastic housing or (raid guard) The oil actually pools up in the plastic housing and when i go too start the bike it has WAY to much oil, it takes like 20 kicks to start and then is Cleaning choking to death and will not move it takes me like 3 minutes of reving it so it does not die just to burn the oil enough too move, then i have too ride around the block a good 2 times before it burns off and runs normally, Of course it smokes all the while i am doing this 8 minutes start and run procedure i have become accustom to doing (unless i have recently ran it and burnt the oil then she fires the first kick) Attachments:

So a good cleaning and if that does not cure it up, a new float needle ?
Are you positive ?

[replyingto=scooterboot]ScooterBoot[/replyingto]Might need a new seat where the float needle goes in also,,If you have a working petcock on there it shouldn't leak.A carb kit should fix you right up.

Thanks a ton for the responses guys!, I will be buying a OEM Carb rebuild kit for about 65 or so soonish than, I will deal with the leaky situation until I can get it here , I would have thought it would have been cheaper for a rebuild kit, for the price of the rebuild kit, I could buy a whole new carb off ebay. Maybe I will, but this 19mm stock carb tickles my fancy still

You should shop for the kit a bit more. The one for my Vespa is like $10 from the Vespa shop....
