Those are just way too cool. Clever use of fur.

Very, VERY nice!!!
Some of the custom touches that really stand out are the flat-stock belt cover and remote carb on yours, and, the dual-shock single-side suspension on both. And of course, the beautiful frames. They remind me of the fabulous "Project Sunkist" scoot featured elsewhere. I'm an old chopper guy (guess you can tell by my handle... LOL!) and a great many scooter-jockeys today don't realize the amount of work involved in these types of builds. Consider yourself "congratulated"! I'd love to see what you could do with a vintage Harley bobber!
When you do get yours totally dialed in, please do post info on the build. I'm especially interested in your remote carb setup. At first glance, it seems like a pretty long run from the carb to the head, but it may prove to run great. I'm always interested in ways to get that carb AWAY from the "cat-back" motor-mount piece so air-filter experimentation, and carb-tuning can be made easier.
Nice work for sure!
Leo (still smilin' over these) in Texas
PS: I'll bet the farm we'll start seeing more of the flat-stock-on-spacers belt covers like yours on "skelly" and Ruckus-style "nekkid" scoots. It's a NATURAL, and lends itself to the competition look. It would look good not only as you executed it, but "jeweled" or engine-turned, painted, numbered, "Swiss-cheesed" etc. Simple, effective and NOBODY seems to have done it before. NEAT! I'll bet pix of these will turn up all over Europe in the "hooligan-scooter" pubs and hangouts!
All you guyz n' galz out there wanting the ULTIMATE vented CVT cover, and willing to substitute a little work for money spent... TAKE NOTE of this setup! Flat aluminum stock (even "diamond-plate") cut to size, spacers (tubing, polished or painted... OR, long-reach sockets?) and you have something that looks like came right off a 600 hp drag-bike!
American creativity and Chinese scoots... UNBEATABLE COMBO!

[replyingto=oldchopperguy]oldchopperguy[/replyingto] Wow , thanks for the nice comments. I will see how many Build pics my wife took, It was a very fast 3 week build . I have learned to not take my phone into the Shop "you dont ruin phones w/metal dust and you get more done" As for the intake runner tube "AKA Tunnel Ram " , Its preforms perfectly. No dead spot, good vacuum "although i did go with an electric fuel pump, 2-psi \ no regulator" , and chills the fuel vapor too almost frost on a degree day. I did open up the Idle jet a little , but i like a fat idle , it would have ran fine without it.

Where did you pick up the back of the battery box or did you do the molding yourself? I regret not making a way to work inside mine, having to hook up all the wires and try to slip it on all at the same time is a b*tch.

I made a wood mold and glassed it myself. the aluminum plate on the front is held on by four 1/4" bolts , easy access with a nut driver. Its amazing how many wires you end up with on these scooters.

I was thinking about buying a Ruckus BB then just making the mounts but then I would have to use a factory ignition switch which are $100+ from honda, plus all the other holes in them for warning lights and other things.

ratified911 great looking bikes. Where the heck did you come up with a 300cc gy6? I would love to see some up close pics of your tunnel ram.
