I posted this in the 250cc forum on accident. I am now correcting that error. Mods please delete that thread. Thank you. I talked to a couple of people and they told me this was a very common problem on the new 150 V.I.Ps. I know I can get a new muffler but it's bound to just fall off again. One person told me his fell off 3 times. So i was told that if I bout a 200$ performance exhaust it would fix the problem permanently. I was still a bit skeptical and didn't know if this was the best solution or not. I was thinking about doing something i saw someone do awhile back back but i'm not sure what it's called. he had cut off his muffler and screwed on this little tiny muffler that screws on. It was small enough I believe it didn't need qany supports, the same supports that broke on mine. Anyway. If anyone has any solution please let me know. Thank you so much!!. These scooters do have a tendency to have their mufflers and exhaust headers act up. It's hard to find aftermarket systems that just "bolt on" without modifications. Personally, I've found it's almost easier to engineer your own system using whatever metal brackets, pipes and muffler setups you like best. It's not nearly as difficult as it sounds.
I believe the rider you are referring to used a Briggs & Stratton screw-on muffler. That would be fine I guess, so long as it's one made for an engine of similar size (like a 9 or 10 hp industrial engine) or similar. You could have a local muffler shop weld or braze a threaded female pipe-nipple to your header to just screw the muffler to. VERY simple! Then, just fab up some strap-metal hangers to solidly mount it to your scoot!
Just be sure your home made mounts all fasten the swing-arm/motor unit... The entire exhaust system must move with the engine/suspension... It's easy to forget that, and fasten the muffler to the scooter frame. THAT would be AWFUL... LOL! The engine would "swing" but the muffler wouldn't. Something would surely break.
While you have the exhaust apart, I would recommend either replacing the header with a full 1-inch inside-diameter header, or chamfer the inside edge of the stock header to ease the exhaust flow from the head to the pipe. It does help.
If you have any problems, there are plenty of us here to give you advice.
Ride safe!

this is true , i had to mod my aftermarket header so that it would attach right. also the damn muffler clamps seem to snap easy, so i made some out of a thicker strapping from lowes.
