The TaoTao ATM50 was a very good bike!
I've seen dealerships in the USA full of these bikes (some renting out as much as a hundred of them); regardless if they where from Roketa, TaoTao, or whatever the brand was.

The TaoTao was cheap but sufficient material, stripped down to the essentials. The less there is, the less that can break.
The suspension was a bit hard stock, but after a good 3000 miles it becomes acceptable.
A very small (80% sized) though solid scooter body frame, combined with pretty good factory tuning (stock), made it a very fast scooter; and now they're selling a 150cc version of that 50cc, at about the same price!

For only $140 more than the 50cc, at $940 delivered at your door, you could have this one!
It's small size makes it excellent as a race scooter, yet retains almost the same carry capacity as the larger scooters!
Those types of scooters can carry almost 1/2 a shopping cart of groceries!
It has enough rear trunk, and under seat storage space, and what won't fit, fits on the floorboard!
