I have a 2013 taotao scooter that has been burning a greater amount of gas than usual. The scooter starts right up when cold; however, when I start it warm, I have to give it throttle in order for it crank. The scooter runs fine while driving. When I'm stopped at a red light the idle drops extremely low for half a min or so, then idles rather high almost moving by its self. ANY IDEAS?!

I think it could also be rich. Easy cold start is signs of being rich. Dying on hot is signs of being rich.
Same principle as a choke. You RICHEN the mixture at a cold engine, and it dies when hot, when the choke is still pulled out or enabled.

You did not read it right those are not his symptoms, his IDLE is bouncing AFTER IT GETS HOT AND THE ENRICHER SHUTS OFF THE EXTRA FUEL. If it were rich the IDLE will not BOUNCE if really rich it will sputter and die. Little lesson for you on what TO MUCH FUEL or NOT ENOUGH FUEL does to a motor at IDLE. Alleyoop

I agree with alley sounds lean may be an adjustment may be a leak but certainly not rich. I bet his plug confirms this

Mine wandered bad from a split intake boot... check out that rubber and adjust the valves too, if you haven't
