This picture was taken with a camera of 70,000 x 30,000 pixels (2100 megapixels). One can identify any face in the multitude. Such cameras are not sold to the public, and are being installed in strategic locations. (This one is in Canada ) Place the cursor among the people, and left double click as many times as needed to see faces clearly (more than a couple times). Oh wow. Alley, that's really amazing. Now I want one! I have to take some dragonfly pics for my photo club's little monthly contest this month. I could just shoot pics of the lake, then go home and zoom in like nobody's business and get any number of them. Fast'n'easy. Wow.

They have the ability to zoom in on one face in a crowd of a thousand but still don't have the ability to take a clear picture of a bank robber with a banks security camera when he is standing 10' from the camera.

A single photo of that magnitude would take forever to load, not even to mention it would crash every computer, as you need MORE than 2GB of video RAM just to display that picture.

however, zooming in, shows that the guy's right, can you see the error in one of the pics?  Another issue is that the people far from the cam are out of focus, very blurry faces. |

The people really faraway down past Richards ST where a bit hard to focus on,,but I even saw a lady out on her balcony,,it was fun messing with that for a while,,thanks Alley!
Kinda like a satellite surveillance camera,,pretty cool!

They are already using Satellites and the many Drones we have seen flying around..now this? Oh Glen it's hopeless now. When the government can actively spy on it's entire population and 98% of them actually think it's just to keep them safe and support the government instead of the PATRIOT that exposed it, all is lost. This is not your grandpa's America. That place is unfortunately forever gone.
