If it is a 2T it is very easy to verify if you have a LOW OIL LIGHT INDICATOR, look and see if wires are going to your oil tank into a sensor.

That's crazy, I've never heard of a cell phone light on a scooter.

i have a cell phone indicator. it is red and has a pic that looks like an older 80s type phone. lights up when your cell phone rings . mine works good , but will sometimes go off near security systems.

lol , it is kinda cool , the only thing is is having to either pull over or wait till you get to where you are going to use the phone, so is not that convenient . unless you really cant miss the call  |

My t3 had a oil change indicator but I never found out if it worked oil changes are so cheap I did them once a month regardless of need

 Red is usually oil indicator in my experience. Even if it's a 4T it may still be an oil light, possibly intended to hookup to an oil level or pressure switch your scooter doesn't have... if it doesn't come on when you first turn the key on as a "self-test" it probably isn't used. Exactly or it isn't working. I wish I had a light I could hook up to whatever I wanted... |

I wish i had a rain indocator light that would tell me to get the ___k home. About 20 mins before it rains.

I agree with skutta'--did you get an owner's manual? Check what it says about the dash displays.
Otherwise, I'd guess oil. Except mine's got a little oilcan icon on it. So maybe not?
