I was just introduced to this bike via Prodigit's thread about starter bikes. I would love to get with anyone who may own one and talk. I like the styling, and it may be a bit under powered but that may be okay. I'm mainly wondering if it would be too small. I'm 6 foot. Engine wise I'm not sure but I think more than not that it will be sufficient for atlanta traffic, and also be fun to ride. Top speed is okay. If I can find one for $1500 I would love to grab one up. I like the silver-ish paint jobs rather than the maroon red. Here is a pic! Sexay!! lol

Most MSF chapters have plenty of them. They are considered sturdier than the Honda equivlalent and better suited for those of robust build.
MSF instructors will assign them to the guys so they don't have to deal with the bent gear shift shafts that the Honda 250 is prone to.

Ya, I think I heard that.
I did my testing on a Buell Blast. These TU's are a lot cooler

They do roast you with engine heat though. I was used to a scooter that exhausted its cooling air down off to the side and back while the TU250 just radiates heat right up at you especially during lengthy traffic stops. Here in the Tropical South they tend to cook you.

Sat on one last week at Riva Motorsports near Homestead, FL. I really liked it. It has that late 70s Suzuki GS look to it. Like the rest of the men in my family, I have short legs. This bike is one of a select few that lets me get both feet comfortably on the ground. I'd love to own a dual-sport but that's never going to work for me. Thought the price around $4000 seemed relatively fair. Agreed the Silver is complimentary to the styling and makes for sharp bike.
