vent line coming off valve cover. Put it inline somewhere. It allows air to exit the engine and not return back in.

[replyingto=justin010304]justin010304[/replyingto]The majority of the time..prolly %...when you need a PCV valve due to excessive air and a foamy oil mixture coming from your valve cover vent...your rings are worn and you have blow by. I have tried the PCV valve in several scoots with that condition. All they do is allow air to flow one way..that being out. But your blow gasses will still come out because the one way PCV allows it to vent as it needs to. A PCV valve is only a band aid on a bigger problem. If you have blow by now...you will still have it with PCV... Been there...done that on at least 15 customer QMI125 and QMJ150 scoots. Ended up doing a ring job...and *POOF*...good as new with no blow by.. Glenn

Its best for the vent line to be in more of an upright position other then on a slope or 45degree angle.
