In New York , no title no transaction period . With one exception , its a seized vechle sold by shreiff or marchal . John So how do you tag a vehicle bought from a state that does not issue titles? (Offhand, RI doesn't title anything 10+ years old.) |

Usually in States that don't mandate a title for older vehicles you can still pay the fee and get a title when you are moving or selling a vehicle out of State. |
