I've done the carb tuning before when I had another problem just before Xmas. Ended up buying a new carb! A/f screw is currently 2 turns out so will take it from there and adjust 1/8 turn at a time.
Still baffles me why this would only start happening when I've washed the scoot! Thanks for the help so far though guys.

;D ;D ;D Well guys. The little beast is running and better than it ever has. I think the problem all along has been a fuel issue. I found that when I replaced my carb a few months back it only had a 78 main jet in and the original carb had a main jet. So it's been running lean, so put the jet back in. Also noticed that the pipe that runs from the fuel filer to the carb was very crimped and causing fuel starvation. Brought the little beast home tonight for the first time in 3 weeks and it was perfect. Really smooth,no bogging,no cut outs, idles perfectly (which it never with 78 jet in) and is 5mph faster on the flat (45mph with a 17 stone rider). Really chuffed its all running smoothly again and it has had none of the replacement parts which i ordered fitted at all. Always handy as spares though. Thanks for all your suggestions and help everyone.
