A lot of reviews on the China-scoots report noise/rattling due to the cheap plastic used for the body. I've read about using the rubberized spray-on Plasti-dip to paint body panels, but what about spraying on the INSIDE of the panels to dampen vibrations and reduce noise? Or possibly use a spray-on truck bed liner for the same purpose? shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_bed-armor-diy-truck-bed-liner-black-16-5-oz-aerosol-duplicolor_10066313-p...or one of the specialty sound dampening products available. These products could be sprayed on the inside of the body panels and inside the trunk to (in theory) reduce noise due to vibration and resonant road noise. Has anyone tried this? Just me pondering mods while I'm waiting for delivery of my new scoot...

You'll find a lot of rattles are from the sheet metal "speed nuts" the Chinese are so fond of, in the tupperware. You may also wish to try clear silicone caulk to cure squeaks and rattles (it also stops the clips form disappearing during disassembly)

Then there are the loose electrical connectors that need to be strapped down that rattle all over the place. A bag of nylon zip ties helps with those. Some have lost the rubber bands that were holding them in place while others had rubber band around them to keep them quiet. Sometimes wrapping the ones that need to be loose with foam tape helps too.
