Anybody need anything from a 50cc long case or a gy6 150cc? Willing to ship, Thanks, Ryan. YES! I need tranny gears from a stock GY6 50cc. I bought a used Peace Sports B09 from a guy. He replaced the primary and secondary gears with shortcase ones as the ratio was an 'up gear' from the stock longcase. Bottom line is..the short case gears are designed for a tiny 10" tire and this Scoot comes with 12" high profile tires. So the final ratio is so high..you can barely take off. 5,500rpm is max even with the 100 BBK. Takes a half mile to hit 40 mph as the engine struggles under the load...and the clutch slips for the first 20 feet or so.. After a half mile it is still barely pushing 5,500rpm. I always 'hop up' Scoots...but some just go way overboard. i.e. When he put the 100 BBK on.the compression was 235psi The starter could not crank it...and my lil 5' 8" 145lb body could barely kick start it...at times I could stand up on the kicker!! Added 1 extra head and base gasket...and now compression is 180psi. Starter cranks it..but slowly. However the gear ratio is killing me. So I am looking for stock long case gears..

Alright I'll dig them up for you. The clutch won't come off with an air or electric impact so I may just saws all the nut off. Lol

Lol Yikes...if you cut the nut off...the primary gear shaft will be no good. A primary gear shaft intact is what I need and the rest of the stock long case gears ya got. But as I said..if you have to cut the nut on the primary input shaft..that will render that gear useless.. Glenn

Hold the clutch bell with a 24" pipe wrench.add a peice of pipe to your ratchet (for leverage. AND USE A 6 POINT SOCKET. (or try an impact wrench) ;D If all that fails, use a nut splitter

DX I desperately need the clutch input shaft as it has the stock long case primary gear I need. Actually I need all the gears in the long case...cause the guy I got this new Scoot from put in short case 'Over the top' super high ratio gears. While that may be borderline ok for a short case with lil 10" wheels...you almost have push off by foot with those high gears in a long case with high profile 12" tires. That is the reason I can only reach about 40...the engine is loaded down wayyyy too much. Not sure what he was thinking. The 100cc BBK is only truly 83cc...and after a few calculations it would take a true 125cc QMI engine to get up to redline...and the speed would be 60-62mph....but even a true 125cc QMI engine I doubt could ever hit that speed even...

Yeah, the first time's a real bear to get it off. I had to invest in a DeWalt 110v 1/2" impact wrench and some high-impact sockets. Once I FINALLY got it off, I use a little anti-seize every time I put the clutch nut or variator nut back on.

DX Anti seize is great for CVT and Clutch nuts...sure beats eating up the crank or clutch input shaft threads from the impact wrench.
