Well,
"Lil' Bubba" has been apart all over the driveway for a month. Just got him back together and running like a bear. Haven't had time to clean him up for pix, so... Here's what I've been riding for a month or so. Not a scooter, but a close kissin'-cousin! My vintage Schwinn resto that I made last winter...  image upload no registration image upload photos uploadI'll have Bubba cleaned up soon, and update pix showing the mods that are visible. As "Flo" from the insurance ads might say... "Lookin' good... lookin' REAL good..." At least Lil'Bubba WILL look good, after a hot bath, some wax and a little paint touch-up... If ONLY that Xingyue would GO like it LOOKS... LOLOLOL! But then, if it Did, it wouldn't be a 150, would it? The coolest item on my '50's Schwinn "fat-tire" ride IS the tires. They are NOS from sometime in the stone-age, and the tread is the brand-name in a raised "V" shape all over. PURE depression-era! Hope they last: I'll never find another set! Leo (putting the "MO" back in "MOPED" again) in Texas PS: But this pedal-pusher has SEVEN speeds hidden in the old-school coaster-brake hub... Gives my scoot a pretty good run for the money!... LOL!
