i have just installed new hoca bbk on my 50cc and the rubber goes around the head between the fan cover doesnt fit exactly. because the hoca head shape is not identical to stock head. and putting the rubber thing gets really annoying . i wonder if i can just take out the rubber thing and not use it. would fan cover melt? or does anyone have better idea?

That rubber seal keeps the air from blowing out around the head and helps eliminate vibration of the shroud. You can make a custom fit gasket by using some high temp silicon. Spray a mold release agent (pam will work, or mist a light coating of oil) on the head and shroud so the silicon wont stick, assemble parts fill with silicon and allow to cure( may take a few days to fully cure a thick bead). Disassemble and trim excess. Walla custom gasket.

Even if the plastic engine cover did not melt, you want that gasket in place as best as possible.
Removing that gasket may affect the cooling air-flow from the flywheel fan into the cylinder-head's fins.

Joaoeu is right but it shouldnt make that big of a difference to be a prob. My ncy head is shaped dif from my stock so i had the same prob. But i had to cut the plastic to fit around the head. The plastic seems to touch in other places and no melting has occured.
