No low-mid or high end accelleration. Its about half what it was with the old carb. Its a 19mm with jets. nothing outrageous. WHen I called scooterworks they said I might have to go to a lower jet. Seems kinda odd its not revving or starved for gas? So I removed the air box to run it full unrestricted...same thing. No performance increase or acceleration increase. Faulty carb since that should have leaned it out.

An is small. Normally stock is 80-82 which is running them very lean so they pass emissions. You should be able to run an with a free flow air filter to have a goof a/f ratio. A BBK scooter will run 92-98+ depending on how highly modified and what fuel you are running. Anyways the jet is not the problem. If the carb came with a fuel enricher on it try switching it out for your old one. It could be faulty and cause overfueling....

Why such a big jet with a stock setup? Exactly Millsc, your flooding the poor thing therefore no power whatsoever. 50s stock come with main jets in the 60 range never seen one bigger than a 72 in them. - is usually what you would put in for a 72cc bbk setup, if you go with a bigger bbk then your in the - range. I bought a replacement carb for my brother's 139qmb and it came with an # jet as well. Do you have the old carb? If so, you can try using the main jet from the old one.

Its stuck in the sealed carb. Did it work? I don't know. I swapped it out as I was also doing a bbk at the same time.
