Hi guys.
I briefly talked to larry about the 100cc 9=(83cc) motor that scrappydog scooters has. I ordered one too along with the 23mm carb. Does anyone out there know if the gearing in that motor is the same as stock qmb139?I'm leaning toward getting the higher gears for it and installing them before swappim=ng the motor. any advice?

I'd ask the guys at scrappy but they might not even know. It is entirely possible that they may come with different gears all the time.

most scoots come with 15/51 or 14/52 i like my 16/50 gears have them in both my scoots

At this point, I really have my doubts as to getting that motor, I'm preparing to get my motor elsewhere and do the gearing myself 16/50 along with the bbk 83cc...

I won't say he's dishonest, I have bought several things from him.. And when he has it in stock he's really fast, and pleasant to deal with.. Just I'm running out of time and need Fawkes back up and running. I ordered the engine to save time, and it's costing me more.. And I don't have it to give.. |

But no iridium plug,no carb, and no engine, and no money to get kit!I only had one problem with them in the past, I bought a head, and paid for priority shipment, and it didn't come for 4 days. Shelly said it was the mailmans fault and offered me the credit on shipping, but i never used it.
