I've been riding scooters for a few years now and I have noticed that 50cc scoots rev to like 5-6k when taking off is this ok? That seems a bit exessive

Hi Kyle yes that's a bit excessive if that's where the clutch begins to engage... Most stock scoots begin to engage about 2500 to 3000 rpms.. If your that high, I would take the cvt cover off and inspect the components...

My clutch usually engages about 4,000 on my taotao but on my velocity with an 83cc kit It gets to about 2 because I put in new clutch springs the tach on my bike was way off lol I just rode my friends bike and figured that out
