Well not quit I spent $1.00 on sand paper,I removed the clutch bell and hit that with some sand paper on the inside Then I sanded the three clutch shoes just enough to take off the shiny glaze, no more shuttering on take off and very noticeable improvement in low to mid acceleration.i do realize this is prob a well known procedure to some of you but if not give it a shot!

If they where glazed and shuddering you should idle your scoot down a tiny bit. The glazing is cause by heat which is most likely from the shoes rubbing the clutch bell but not grabbing it.

Also some have the habit of riding at speeds where the clutch is just starting to engage but is still slipping which increases the occurance of glazing along with increases temps in the CVT case leading to premature belt failure.

every scooters clutch bell will become glazed over time. no matter what bell you use stock or performance. I have a KOSO Clutch Bell which brand new the inside is like sandpaper, very good grip but it eventually fades away. Sand paper is a good thing to do every once in a while we have done it also
