Hello, im currently experiencing some muffler problems and i think its time i replace the stock muffler. Im here to ask for tips on what i should get, there is some mufflers on ebay for about 100 bucks. I really don't wanna spend more than that for now.
I have chunli adventure 150cc scoot, what would be a good choice to buy?

If you are having problems with the muffler cracking/splitting you may need to go through your CVT first and take care of any worn belts, out of balance clutch, grooved drive faces first otherwise the new muffler could join the old one in very short time

Yea thats the muffler, regular stock for most long case 150s. As for scooter its a copy of longbo adventure 150cc, if u look it up you will definitely find that one. Cvt can cause crackling? Because that's exactly whats happening

A Mostly crackling, and its real loud when air/fuel ratio is tuned 2 1/2 turns. The thing is i bought a new air filter that is a bit bigger than original so i put a bigger jet in there. And it almost feels like there is too much air for this exhaust to handle. Atm i have my air fuel mixture turned out pretty far to get it quieter. Its especially loud at low rpms

i bought the under the seat air box, it came with a bigger filter than stock one though. Yea i know how to tune it but it seems that no matter how much i unscrew the a/f mixture the rpms keep going up. I drop the idle and keep turning and they still go up, i know something isnt right. What would be the prefered setting with bigger air filter and 115 jet?
The way i have it tuned now it actually gets more top speed but low/mid range is kinda slow.

Because that's exactly whats happening Metal fatigue where the muffler starts to disintegrate and fall apart. It may start sounding a bit raspy at first and then will start to come apart. You may also have screws come loose along with other items starting to fail. Buzzing floor boards may also become apparent. Some will complain that their hands or feet get numb feeling after rides lasting more than a few minutes.

is the muffler and engine pipe one piece ? I have a few mufflers with different flanges and also engine pipes . 3 bolts 6 bolts ?
I have had funky sounds when the muffler or mountings were not tight .

Any chance of you returning to the original stock air filter & jet? That would eliminate your current condition. Then all you would need to do is replace the exhaust muffler, if it is aged & falling apart, & you should then be able to enjoy the use of a trouble-free scoot, at least, until the next time something needs attention!

Can't return anything but its a 3 bolt muffler. Im just gonna get a new muffler and see how it acts. My header has that stupid emissions system with extra outlet on the side that goes into some kind of filter. Maybe thats why its acting like that. But as for a low end performance muffler..do you guys have any suggestions to which to buy?
