I would get checked by my primary care physician, or at least let him advise you on what to do. What these Doctors say carrie more weight that an ER doc. Plus it is cheaper. Ins Co,s write checks, there good at it, it's a game, ask some lawyer you know what to do. I would let the bike get totaled and buy it back from the ins co. Get a new one and put both engines on the new one.. hahaha

In Missouri, you need not register nor get insurance on a 49cc scooter. Must have valid drivers license( regular car drivers license). The homeowners insurance covers accidents with a vehicle, if a accident occurs with a 49cc scooter. If larger engine displacement( like a 150cc) well than, you are responsible to register it as a motorcycle, you are to have insurance and a class M motorcycle license or permit.

Have the shoulder X-rayed! You may have a small fracture and not know it...if so, you DO want to know before you try to do something strenuous (like, say, fix a scooter) and it snaps!
