Hi Theres no easy set answer as all scoots are different and then theres your riding style and the terrain you will be using it on I use a roller tuning kit to find out exactly what works best for my specific conditions www.scooterworks.com/prima-roller-weight-tuning-kit--3g-to-14g--16x13-products-1935.phpOnce i find the proper weight then i get quality rollers or sliders as the tuning ones are not for every day use If you decide to go with sliders get them one gram heavier then what you would use for rollers Take care and ride safely my friend Yours Hank

It depends on a lot of factors, terrain, engine power/tuning, rider weight, etc. I found around 4-4.5g was the best for me on my Tao Tao.

They actually recommend 5 grams on my ATM, never weighed the originals, but I suppose 5.5g is the heaviest you'd want to go for a small 50cc 4 stroke scooter. Any heavier and your gas mileage goes up drastically, but acceleration pretty much sucks.
it also depends on the strength of the counter spring.

Hi The 4 gram sliders will act like 3 gram rollers Take the roller weight that allows the scoot to perform to your needs and go up one gram So if 4 gram rollers are what work best for you then get 5 gram sliders On my 4T BBK scoot 7.5 gram rollers where the sweet spot so i went with DR Pulley 8.5 gram sliders Low end is exceptional with a great topend as well Take care and ride safely my friend Yours Hank

A T3? I'd put 4g in mine, but then again, I weigh 280lbs. If you're lighter than me, 5-7g will do the job.
