Right now I've got bunnies and some weird birds. I'm going to Texas next month and hope to get a place with some land! Then I will cage some rabbits and have some chickens and the like for an occasional fresh dinner for me and the fiance and her kid.

Were I've lived for the last 3year's in griffin Ga. I've seen hundreds of deer(sometimes 4 to7 at a time), rabbits, cats, dogs, turkeys, a couple of possums, chipmunks, squirrels, raccoons, armadillos, lizards, frogs, 3 turtles, more birds than I can name & 1 red fox. That I see going up my drive way on security cam. To my disbelief I've never seen a snake on my property. Now it doesn't matter were you live. Dave All the same critters here too... But gotta add coyotes and PLENTY of snakes... Copperheads, Diamondbacks and Cotton-Mouths. Oh, and a bevy of bats! Sometimes one will "bat" me in the puss while taking out garbage at night. I don't think their "radar" is all it's cracked up to be... LOL!Leo (watchin' over the zoo) in Texas

Thanks, no we have sand deer, I have only seen them near the place(within 2 miles) never on our property, the wife said she saw one behind the house once. Same with the bear, closest I have seen was about 7 miles away, they prefer it a bit higher up.

Cool Doug. I've never heard of sand deer. When I lived in Manta ray park Ca., we would skip school and go to Big bear mountain for the week end. seen a few Bear's up there. that was many Moons a go.

I recall this one couple, letting their dog crap in our front yard. I was 10 years old. My mother became so outraged, that she gathered its crap + our dog crap, put it in a bucket and poured it on the lady's doorstep. My mother was a mean woman- called Wanda the witch by neighborhood kids.

Road Runners, and they DON"T eat birdseed like on the Warner Brothers cartoons. They're CARNIVOROUS! I saw one climb up to a nest in a tree, kill the chick and had it hanging from it's mouth. (nasty little boogers)
