ScrappydogScooters.com is adding 44mm stroker cranks to their already long list of parts available for chinese scooters and motorcycles. These fit the 139qmb 49cc 4stroke chinese standard scooter engine. We'll also be adding several other items. The container that has them was delayed in customers about a week. but are expected to arrive on tuesday, which will also fill those backorders. Price is only 149. ! Supply is limited on these this load, so if you'd like to secure your order, call 702-689-6035. We'll be adding them to our website in the next week or two, but they may be gone by then...not sure.

Stock the 22 tooth oil pump sprocket crankshaft---since yours have the 16 tooth sprocket. Stock cranks of better quality. Please and thank you! Any more info on this 44mm stroker crank out there? What mods need to be done with this crank?

I wasn't aware we had a quality problem with our cranks that we stock? We occasionally get a request for 22 tooth sprocket cranks, but they are very rare, and we send them on special request from our NingBo warehouse. The stroker crank will require the same modification that any stroker crank for any engine will require, which is that you'll have to raise the cylinder to a height half of the added stroke. I'd recommend having a professional install it if you're not sure of what to do.

I'm not saying your cranks are of bad quality, I just need a "beefier" one. I can get one, but I prefer to get everything all at once, at the same place. Basically, with my rebuild, I have to shop at 2 different places. No big deal, really. You get yours, and they get theirs...etc. I'm happy either way.

Plus, they need labeled properly--- along with oil pumps and oil pump gears. NO SITES label stuff like that. 16 tooth or 22 tooth crankshaft, along with whatever oil pump we need.

Our cranks are of better quality than so called "stock" cranks. Made at the QJ factory for NA market level. There are many levels of quality in parts for chinese scooters, and hundreds of different factories that make the 139qmb, so the word "stock" isn't as relative as if you were buying from another country that did not operate with a socialist/communist background. You are right, we are going to start stocking the 22T cranks and labeling them as type one and type two. The stroker crank is of Taiwanese manufacture. Very good quality.

[replyingto=larry001964]larry001964[/replyingto]I'm not sure where Hoca is made. These are ScrappyDog cranks made by contract in Taiwan. We've considered having a separate "brand name" for the parts we have made to our specs.

You guys describe your product very well, better than most places, IMO. The reason I brought up the labeling, is because I installed a crank before that had a different oil pump sprocket--- never even thought or heard about different sprockets/gears on cranks, and didn't notice until AFTER I put the case back together with new gasket..etc. It also seemed as if the variator was harder to get on for some reason. It's really hard to tell what the quality of parts are sometimes. Places say something is better than the OEM, but don't say what makes it better.

What makes your cranks better? To me it's junk unless all 3 bearings are of much better quality to push more power. That's what I mean by better quality vs. stock...or Chinese(but thats ultimately quality control). I've had the rod bearing go twice, and the main side bearings go twice--- both. A real beefier crank has all 3, IMO.

strokers arrive in the morning. I believe alot of them are already pre-purchased. call or email directly to the office if you'd like to catch one.
