I changed my fuel line and now my scooter is really really slow... it used to run 35-40 mph now it barely runs 20 mph... it keeps bogging down and sputters and shuts completely off sometimes.... i just had a valve adjustment and carb cleaned but idk where to turn....

Seems pretty obvious. How many lines? did you connect them to the valve in the correct order? Did you change the filter?
If they are in the correct location take them off and blow through them. Bugs like tight places in the parts stores.

What were the valve gaps set to? What size engine do you have?

Is the fuel filter installed the right way. Take a picture of your carb area and hoses. Help us help you IDK does nothing to find out what the problem is. It could be as simple as the throttle cable was put on wrong and not adjusted. Alleyoop

Whoever touched it I am sure adjusted the valves and or carb wrong. Changing a fuel line is not going to cause the scoot to run bad like he says it does. Fuel lines are usually 1/4 ID EXCEPT from the Fuel Filter to the CARB because the fuel inlet on the CARB takes a 3/16 hose. So From the TANK to the Petcock 1/4 id fuel hose, From the Petcock to the Fuel Filter 1/4 id fuel hose then from the Fuel Filter to the Carb 3/16 fuel hose. Alleyoop Alleyoop

it ran great for about a week and then gas just stated pouring from the fuel line, the line that runs from the gas tank ... it was a fuel line I bought from lowes hardware 1/2od 1/4 id.... the new fuel line is 3/16 5/16... it starts and runs but it jerks and sounds like its sputtering... now it goes 8 mph uphill and 16-17 mph straightaways.... the lights all flicker too

Double check all lines. Like I said, not a scooter guy but I just finished googling "gy6 carb" and it shows a dozen images of lines and their respective connecting nipples. The lights are probably just flickering because the engine is dropping out from fuel starvation. Somebody did something wrong. Did you ride it between any of the repairs? This would tell you which of them is done wrong.
