I've taken the BMS 260 on 1 to 1,5 hour rides. It doesn't really matter if you're doing 100 trips of 1 hour at 65MPH, or 10 trips of 10 hours; at least not for the engine. Waterwetter is indeed an old product, I used to use it, however, it's entirely unneccessary if you're running at least 5 to 10MPH lower than the max speed. Most of the time the thermostat has plenty of leeway to regulate more cooling. The only time you got to be a bit careful is when exiting the highway. If you come at a quick stop, the engine doesn't have time to cool down well enough. It's better to slowly slow down, so that the cooling pump will keep on working.

I put 200 miles on mine last year and it is a Roketa Bali 250.. They really don't have to many problems, once you get to know your scooter. If it has a overheating problem, well pullover every 50 miles and let it rest for 15 minutes. ;D Attachments:

I'd do 200 miles on my 150, and not even worry about it... And she's air cooled. I don't think you will have any problems with a 200 mile trip. Just take breaks, not for the bike, but more for you. Riding can take a bit out of someone and it's much more enjoyable if you can get off the bike every 30 to 45 minutes (that's what they made camera's for). It's safer too. Don't ride if you are tired, take a break.

Can we convince you to just stay in Clearwater or do you have family or something in Jacksonville? I find the sulfer in the water there a bit overwhelming at times.

Hi, I am moving Jacksonville from Clearwater which is a 200mile ride. A four hour ride. I have a linhai 300cc scooter water cooled. Is it safe to run the bike for that long? Or how long can I keep my bike cruising at 65mph without hurting the bike? Thx Update. I rode it today none stop 4 hours and the bike went amazingly.
