But a lot of the budget scoots are becoming a lot better! Like, TaoTao is getting very popular nowadays! For one vespa, you get 1,5 bintelli or puma, and 3 TaoTao's (johnway too btw).
And for the average rider, it doesn't matter if your dash is made out of plastic, or metal; or your throttle is made out of soft plastic, or metal with a rubber layer on top. Most people won't really care.
I'm really excited about my Roketa 127cc motorcycle, I hope to receive soon!

Are you kidding? I think for the price of a $6000 Vespa you can get more than 1.5 Pumas.

Hi I agree 100% For the price of that $6,000 vespa i estimate you could get 6 50cc pumas or 4 150 ccs or 2 of their 250s They really are not that much more then a drop shipped scoot and the quality is leaps and bounds above them Take care and ride safely dear friend Yours Hank

Something to consider... Take a look at your cell phone... If you have a high end andriod or an Iphone, chances are they were built in China... If you have a cell phone (like mine) chances are it too was made in China. You can get high quality goods or dollar store quality goods out of China. It is more about the spec a particular item was made to and the quality control used to evaliate the final product. My LG Optimus smartphone was made in Korea.

Why Chinese? Because my bank balance said "NO" to a Silverwing or a Burgman!

I love my 2012 Motofino MF50QT-6, the only issues were the battery went bad after 700 miles (replaced with 7 amp) and the variator is awfully noisy. very cheap and fun to work on the chinese scooters, despite the opinions from some shops the parts are easy to get and easy to install. i am a heavy ride and i am getting 85MPG average.
