I have the inexpensive BIM (Blue tooth, Interphone, Intercom) that sells for $39 to $50 from Amazon, Buy, etc and it works out well. I have the 300 meter version and it works out well if you align everything otherwise you'll get the results of the one review posted at the link below:

There are also the mirror heads with speakers and an FM receiver hidden in them that work well to speeds of 65 mph.

I found an iHome at the pawn shop for $14.00
It runs on battery's or AC..
I use this with an old ipod touch running whited00r6 to have portable music on the fly. What so cool is at home this thing is great when powered up on ac it charges the ipod. Also it can tune in stations from around the world when wifi is available.
It sounds good too.
