I'm bleeding!!!!!
I have a 2012 Jonway Scooter 250 yt
My headlight went out along with my turn signal, How do you replace the headlight?
I watched a youtube video looked simple NO WAY! JONWAY...I removed all... ALL the screws to the front end plastic...NOTHING! it would seperate a bit...but the top where windshield is would not free up...I was afraid to pry on plastic anymore than I did.
I also reached up in there, removed the rubber boot..then nothing! It wouldnt turn to be free...I understand theres a clip but cant even see it.
Any Idea;s or help....I'm really frustrated and about to kick the bike over.

howdy, i know from experience that ice cream cures any injury even if used externally rather than internally.
y'know these tupperware connectors are a mystery and really frustrating. i can't help ya, but at the frustration level you are , seeking a less sweaty brow to help may in fact help.
lotsa miles and smiles to ya ken

I'm not familiar with that bike, but from what I've seen on other bikes with front fairings, look inside above the tire, there is usually a support that it also bolts to on the inside of the fairing.

sometimes you got to pull down on the fearing to get it to clear the studs. (very carefully).... and there is screws for an inner fender also that can hang you up, along with various tabs.
If it's like the older flagship model, there is also two or three bolts per side, under the floor board, where it starts to meet the knee guard.

[replyingto=urbanmadness]urbanmadness[/replyingto]Pulled down got it free from the studs, all screws out even at floor boards, still it will seperate but not come free.
The bulb is secured by a clip...but no way I can see to release the clip without removing a phillips screw that without the front removed looks impossible. If not for the clip I can reach my hand in there, get rubber boot out of the way, and get my hand on buld....but the darn clip is stopping me.

Replacing the headlight bulb requires you to remove the front panel, so you can access the headlights from the inside or rear. With the front panel off, you will see the two rubber covers, slip off the covers, and then you can unclip the socket, pull it out and replace the bulb. Do not touch the bulb with your fingers. if you do use some acetone and clean off the glass. You can slip on a pair of latex gloves to handle the bulbs with too. Basically the skin oils or motor oil, etc on your skin sticks to the glass and when the bulb fires up it burns onto the glass causing a hot spot, which causes the bulb to fail prematurely. When I checked the light bulbs on my 150cc, before I ever started it, I found fingerprints on one headlight bulb. So I cleaned the bulbs good, before I put it back together. Pics in link above.

here is the clip I took out when I charged bulbs. But I learn that you only have to take the one screw out that hold the clip down. (the wire comes out, but I didn't have to take the screw on the right out. Attachments:
