For those that don't know, I've installed scrappy's 200cc engine, however, I'm having electrical issues with the new 11 pole stator. Issues are as follows. 1. No headlights at idle, only when engine revs. 2. No tail lights at idle or when engine revs. 3. Bought a new battery (AGM ES9BS Walmart) on Saturday, on Monday completely dead. Put it on a smart charger (2amp) Charger says battery is bad/no good. Will only charge to ~5volts.
I purchased Scrappy's 11 pole rectifier. Five wires coming out of it. 1. Green 1. Yellow 1. Pink 1. Red 1. Black
Any help would be appreciated, as I'm at a loss as to what to try/do next.

Hang in there I am not an Electrical Guru one of the Electrical guys like TVNACMAN (John) or JR will chime in and tell you what and how to check to see which is bad the STATOR or the R/R. I will give them a heads up for you. Alleyoop

Thank you very much. this project is almost done... hope hope. I've done some digging and it seems there is some additional wiring that needs to happen. And I'm not 100% sure the R/R is the right one. It seems there are ones with different amounts of wire's e.g. I think I saw one that has seven.
I have the scooter opened up, so I can take pictures, or relay any information needed.

Yes there are different R/Rs but it all depends on the wires on the STATOR, also the type of STATOR you may also have to change out the CDI. On a lot of the motors they sell they stick a DC STATOR in them and your scoot may have a AC harness. Alleyoop

Ok lets see what you have? Post a picture of the stator plug showing the plug and wire colors. Same for the regulator.

I think the regulator is incorrect. I need to see the pics I asked for.

Looks like you need the right regulator, a 3 phase one. You can use a 3 phase stator on a 1 phase regulator like hook 2 of the 3 yellows to yellow and pink on the regulator. 1 coil will be rouge. Meaning not connected and running wild. May not cause a problem but maybe not. it looks like this

On a good note Walmart took the battery back, however, they had no more in stock, so I'm without battery for the time being.

Don't know why but Scrappy sold you the wrong R/R that is a 5-wire single phase R/R. Here is what you need: Take note a 7-wire R/R. The diagram has two wires it says black to harness, one black goes to the black on ignition switch. This wire's purpose is to read or sense needed charging output. The other black wire that hooks up to green = ground and it is the black negative battery cable. Here is how you do the lights and BTW put the autochoke on the R/R white wire along with the relay:

Looking at this image I see your bike has a half wave charging system stock. These work OK. To implement the existing wiring on the bike and not modify anything pull the old stator off and reuse it. Or if you don't have it you can buy one. If you want to increase power for more lights or a sound system you can Upgrade to the 3phase system. For this to work you need a 3 phase reg/rec. You also need to rewire the headlights(yellow wire to feed off the ign switch. You also need to set the sence wire for the regulator to the B+ 12 volt battery all the time. Then you are done.

Thank you all for your help. The original stator ran/charged everything fine, and I have no plans for HID, or a stereo, so I think I'll take the old stator off and replace the 11 pole one. Just to be clear, the flywheel on the 200cc can stay; I just need to replace the stator? And of course, put the R/R from the original engine back on.
