Hi guys, I am new to the board (in a posting sense) I have found some fantastic guides on here and recently successfully changed my brake pads (I am very very unknowledgable on mechanicing so was proud)
So just randomly, no crashes or problems, I saw like a leak coming from the back of the handlebars of my lexmoto zoom2 that goes all the way down to where my feet are, I wiped it up but it continues to drip, I looked at the brake fluid and its possibly that, but I dont really know much about these things, I have absolutely no money so cant afford to take it to a garage..
What is it most likely to be? the fluid is clear but oily, would this be something I could fix myself?
Thank you for any advice guys, I seriously appreciate it!

Here are the pics, sorry for the quality, its in a dark garage, on my camera phone... Here is where the stuff is leaking, the drip is coming from the centre bottom of the handlebars.. Weirdly at the front of the handlebars it looks like the fluid is around the bottom of the handlebars??

You need to expose the brake master cylinders and trace those brake hoses till you find which one is leaking. Clean that all up after you find the leak Brake fluid is a vile substance you don't want coating your scooter...

i got money on it leaking brake fluid thats the only fluid that would be on the handle bars imo. do not wipe your eyes or get any in you mouth and be careful cause brake fluid can eat away plastic if you let it stay on the scooter

When I took the pics of the brake leavers, the right ones mechanism looked greasy like the leak was from that area (under the brake fluid reservoir) I checked the level and it seems down slightly, I'll try and get the cover off the handlebars and have a more thorough explore asap...

Your master cylinder or one of the lines coming from it is leaking. Tighten everything there it should be simple and take like 15 minutes... Wash everything you got that fluid on

So I took it to bits and there were no obvious leaks anywhere, in the plastic there seemed to be an accumulation of an oily type substance, but I'd recently sprayed loads of WD40 on some screws on the brake fluid reservoir so hoping thats all it was, topped up the brake fluid as a precaution, but hoping its all ok now
