So my 150cc was a pita to keep running when cold I have to sit on the the garage and feather the throttle for like fifteen minutes to warm it up enough to run on its own, after the adjustment it was like night and day it would sit and idle like a champ, but onother thing changed also,my compression is considerably higher then before,I don't have a gauge but I could push the kick starter by hand.very easily, now it takes a lot more force, what would adjusting the valves have to do with that?

Yup.... The exhaust valve was probably leaking a bit.... Good thing you got it done. They can burn exhuast valves if the get too leaky.

I would not worry about a burnt valve you where just loosing compression is why it was hard starting and would not hold low rpms and idle. With a burnt valve it would not run good or even start up. But to answer you question the only way to see a burnt valve it to take the head off. Alleyoop

Yeah haha I was putting it off for some reason,it went out of Wack just before I put my performance variator on so now maybe I can see if that makes A bigger difference,it was nice to have it fire right up and not have to hold the gas!
