No I haven't named mine, but now I must. I'll get back to you when I think of a good one.

Definitely not a woman thing to do. Both Mom and I name our vehicles, but they're all model-related. The Sacred Sable ('cause we weren't allowed to eat or drink in it), the Lil' Lynx (aka Sasha's Mobile Playpen), the Olds (aka Oldsen, 'cause like Wolfen to wolves he was more than a mere Olds), Taurie, Peej.
The aka-names were what friends started calling those cars.
My last mech had customers who didn't just name their cars, they'd call him and say "Jim needs his oil changed." "Uh, isn't your husband's name Ted?" "No, Jim. The Mercury Topaz." We agreed that's taking it a bit too far.
I think names just make it easier to refer to your ride. But they also make those rides more personal and you risk getting attached to them. Point of fact me and my Taurie-car.

Good call Hank. If you look closely (at his other pictures) he's got the Ukrainian trident on the scoot.

^^^that's funny
Anyway I don't name mine the folks that make them always do first. I call them by their proper names so the Burgman was always the AN400 or Burgman. My pick-up is the 620. So the new one will be the Vespa or P200E. For short I may call it the scoot when the old lady asks what vehicle I am leaving with... Maybe its strange but hey that's me.
