It works great so far... used velcro tape and just attached it to the floor. I cleaned the surfaces really good first with rubbing alcohol. I hope it holds up in the rain thanks for lookin

I like that idea. You don't have to worry about the weight of the drink, and it's level enough to where a full drink(for the most part) will have less of a chance of spill out the top. I'm not overly concerned about it being on the battery cover at all.

I'm not overly concerned about it being on the battery cover at all. its velcro, so I can remove it to access the battery if needed.

[replyingto=domindart]domindart[/replyingto]I think that onewheeldrive may have been talking about the possibility of the drink spilling into the battery compartment. Although it should be fine as long as you use drinking containers with lids or caps.

That's a pretty good setup. I wouldn't want to lose that floor space, though; I usually have stuff to carry there. With mine, it's collapsible and it has the grabber arms and the bottom, flat plate holder that both can fold up and it's drilled into the plastic at the front (faring?) so I still have max use of my floor space to carry stuff too big for under the seat (or like mail or something I grab quickly and don't want to stash under the seat; I just put it on the floor and put my heels over it). Overall, though, looks good and I presume it does its job.

Coke is good for cleaning corroded battery terminals, other than that spilled coke is just sticky. Cool cupholder by the way.

I think that onewheeldrive may have been talking about the possibility of the drink spilling into the battery compartment. Although it should be fine as long as you use drinking containers with lids or caps. My battery compartment cover isn't bolted down, and once in awhile if I hit a pothole or whatever, the cover will pop off/up. I guess I'm just not that worried about that happening. Lol.

Mine is screwed down. Could a large amount of beverage spilled make things blow up? lol

Could a large amount of beverage spilled make things blow up? lol It might if you're drinking Diet Coke and happen to have some Mentos hiding in your battery compartment....
