I bought that same one with 14g rollers for my 150,it's awesome,my take off is a lot better and my top end rpm is lower as well,a bought a gates power link belt at the same time and both vastly improved the smoothness of the cvt! Correction sorry I just looked at the first pic, mine is a Koso branded variatior

Yep, I also am running with the KOSO and I like it better than my Prodigy. I have the DR2 from Kid&Me has a 3 steep ramps and 3 longer ramps and you put light weights in the steep ramps and heavier weights in the longer ramps. I am waiting for warm weather to try it out. Alleyoop

I love my 2 stroke KOSO variator. It quite a bit larger in diameter than stock..therefore longer ramps with a gradual taper. This allows my engine to wind up consistently through the rpm range. At the end of travel the ramps are steeper giving a higher 'gear ratio' With my 72 BBK and other performance parts it has maxed out at 58mph...but that is really winding the engine up and pushing it. The kewl thing..and I can't guarantee it's the variator...but..it only started when I installed it is that I can cruise 50 without the engine screaming away and wasting gas. I go WOT till I hit 50mph...back off to 1/2 throttle....engine rpm's drop..but she holds at 50mph and cruises nicely without taxing my engine with high rpms and wasting gas. As I said..can't promise it's the KOSO variator...however!!...it only started being able to do this after I installed it. With the extra rpm's I could 'up gear' it a bit..possibly get more speed and /or lower the engine rpms at higher speeds....but I think I am happy where I am at. I am not one of the few one here willing to put $700.00 performance parts...into a $700.00 scooter...
