This is the Old Chopper Guy... Still around, but not what I used to be... LOL!
My scoot went south over 4 years ago. Went to repair it and fell and broke my knee. Two years and still can't walk right. Caught the virus and was messed up for another year. I'm now 76 and my loving Wife is 91.
It's been one thing after another, but we're still kicking! Uncovered the old Kymco 250 yesterday. An inch of dirt, snakes living under the plastics, along with some feral cats... If health will allow, I DO plan to get old "Minnie Mouse" running again this Summer. Riding again would make me feel 20 years younger! And, I do love the old scoot. She has a lot of personal touches making her uniquely "mine"... Final drive upped a tooth for a true 70mph cruise, driving lights that would light a football field, monster trunk and saddlebags that actually allow me to do serious shopping errands and a 40's illuminated swan hood ornament (truly obnoxious) but was on my first car in 1960... All that and still a SCOOTER that is fun in town and easy to ride. Wouldn't trade her for a new Vespa.
Sad to see how little activity is on this site nowadays. The economy, virus, bad government and inflation has taken its toll. But... many of us old geezers still around.
I've been on this site since it opened... I did the banner. I'll still be around here as long as I'm alive... Don't know how long that will be, but hope it will be some years yet!

I still check this site from time to time. I haven’t had my scooter (or any scoot) for about 4 years now. I gave it to my nephew but he no longer has it.
Do you guys still see a decent amount of Chinese scoots around, say maybe the last couple years? I moved about 4 years ago as well and it was to a smaller town, so for me to say I don’t see them as much isn’t saying a whole lot. I will say that when I go back to where I lived (several times a week) I haven’t seen as many as there was several years ago.
Seems like right around the time Scrappydog quit dealing with scoots, was when the forum started to gradually slow down (not saying they’re related).
I DO miss my scoot and one day in the future I think I’ll have another one.

I got rid of mine about 7 or so yrs ago, but I bought 2 new ones about 2 yrs ago. I def missed it. Def don't miss spending the $$ on HP parts , lol
