Good afternoon from Kansas. I was reading some info on scootdawg, then realized it was shut down. I am scooter-less at the moment (the wifey doesn't care for them) but used to have a Kymco Gran Vista and a cheaper 49cc Chinese scooter in the past. I am a Harley owner right now, but thinking about trying to sneak a scooter in the garage somewhere  I have been keeping an eye on CL, eBay, etc. but good ones are hard to find and after having a 250cc, I kind of hate to go much smaller. |

Good to have you here, a lot of folks have Bikes of all types Harley, KAWs and they also have scoots.

Thanks! After three motorcycles and two scooters, I will say that I do enjoy riding the scooters more. I definitely wish they had a larger following here.

I had a 69 Mach 1 for about 12 years. I restored it and kept it until I just could t justify it anymore (I was spending $1k +\- each year and only driving it 100-200 miles) so sadly, I sold it. I will always be a fan though.

 welcome from atl , ga. I've owned a couple of performance cars myself. First car ever was a 94 Z28 in hunter green with T-tops. Second was a 89 5.0 mustang hatchback. Had nitrous on that one!

Nah, I had a trans am. I worked a lot of my way through college (as well as paying for the mustang restoration) by working on f-bodies ( camaros and firebirds) and c5 corvettes. We built at least one every 2 weeks or so. Unfortunately, at least for now, those days are behind me.

you could always make a buck on a GM , they were notorious for nickel and dimeing you . The fords always got you home . A friend has a , I want to say a 68 cobra jet . I saw the new cobra in a parking lot over the summer , I snapped a few pics sharp car . pops told me when I was 14 not v8's or worked 6's . I had an  Tbird 5.0 first with the bosh tbody injection . Gotta love the cars! Unfortunately the wife doesn't like me going through them so fast.
Does anyone know any trusted scooter sellers online? I am fighting between getting another well known brand vs a Chinese brand.

If you go Chinese get one with 16" wheels 150cc if your looking for a 150cc . I kind of like what Valley scooters has .

I will check them out. 150 is the smallest I would go. I would probably do a $150 around a grand or so, otherwise i mind as well go with a bigger brand for 2-3k. Thanks!

Any problems? I can handle general maintenance for a good deal. If I can do 50mph, that would be suffice now that I don't have to take the interstate.
