Another question. The kick starter pedal seems to be shot. When I try kicking is it is like skipping teeth. Do not know if that is normal but I would think not. Anyway how hard is it to repair the kick start mechanisms or is it really needed. Is the battery powerful enough to reliably start it? I know on my last two motorcycles there was no kick starter any more.

super easy my man(youll wanna take it apart to see if you actually need any parts or just need to realign things, I just had to realign), just fixed mine wish I did it sooner(and already needed to use it since fixing so that was nice lol)

My kick starter skips every 3 or 4 tries. It always has, but it has never gotten worse after 6 yeays.

I haven't used my kick start in years
in fact it is sitting on a shelf and dusty
