Was checking out big-wheeled (16") 150cc scooters on the web, and I found that SSR is now importing/distributing Benelli scooters in the USA. The SSR Pacifica and the Benelli Caffenero 150 seem almost identical, and I thought I'd compare them... www.ssrmotorsports.com/store/scooter/pacifica150.phpPacifica has an MSRP of $2529, plus $235 destination charge. benelli.ssrmotorsports.com/bikes/caffenero.phpCaffenero has an MSRP of $2399, plus a $235 destination charge. Caffenero is water-cooled and fuel injected - Pacifica is air-cooled and has a carb. Why is the Pacifica $130 more? Seems to me the value is the Caffenero... If I were going to buy a 150cc right now, it would be one of these 2 - having experienced the 16" wheels on my Kymco People GT 300i, I wouldn't want to go back down...

I would get the Pacifica because it is easier to pronounce.

I can't help looking at the Benelli and seeing the discontinued CF Moto E Charm. It has all the specs (water cooling and fuel injection) of the E Charm. The CF Moto was an incredible scooter in its day. If CJ is building it the scooter must be pretty solid.
The Pacifica has a GY6 variant engine. If both are available I would look long at the Benelli.

Did you mean QJ - Qianjiang?
From the Benelli website:
In December 2005, Benelli became part of the Q.J. Group, manufacturer, and winner of the prestigious Best Motorcycle Importer award. Qianjiang (Q.J.) is a corporation located in Wenling China, employing 14,000 people who produce over 1.2 million vehicles and two million engines per year. Including ATVs, electric bicycles, lawnmowers, golf carts, generators, pumps and other gardening equipment which are distributed worldwide.
Imported/distributed here by SSR...
Broward Motorsports of Tequesta supposedly has these - might go check one out - for research purposes, of course...
