I run my hog without any additives until the last few tanks before storage. All the premium gas around here contains 10% ethanol. On those last few tanks, I add the recommended amount of sta-bil to each full tank of gas. When I put it away for the year, I fill up the tank with gas and add a little more sta-bil than recommended. When I come get it in the spring, it always starts right up. sta-bil.co.uk/product/sta-bil-storage-fuel-stabilizer/

What are you Boys using to protect against ethanol in gas?? Why, using "rec-ninety" or ethanol free fuel, of course... WAWA, a Valero, and a few Cumberland Farms by me have it.

What are you Boys using to protect against ethanol in gas?? floridagull, and pistonguy, are dead on. Real gas (ethanol free) is the right choice....and then, only from a station that has a dedicated hose and/or pump, for its delivery. When a fillup is only a gallon or so, using a pump where one hose handles all grades, defeats the purpose. The first quart or two coming from that hose will be whatever the last customer used.....more than likely 87 octane E10.
