That engine is a Coyote, as in A.J. Foyt Coyote engine? Ford Cobra Jet Coyote 5.0 Foyt ran a Coyote Chassis, I may be wrong but I thought there was a tie to Cosworth and Ford, I think I have some pictures of the Foyt Ford, stay tuned |

 Here is the Foyt Indy, basically a Ford, AJ's father wad behind that program. If I remember correctly Foyt bought the rights from Ford in like 72 and ran the Foyt Indy V-8 till 78 and not to leave out his Fourth Indy 500 win in 77. |

I see the Foyt shop next to us 290 when I drive to Austin. I didn't know if it was an actual race shop or something else.
-I pity the guy that had to build the exhaust for those reverse flow heads on the cosworth v8.

Larry Foyt is pretty much running the program as acting President. Larry was adopted, he was the son of AJ's sister. Probably the most intimidation one on one meeting Ive ever had in my life, you open your mouth and make sure No Stupid comes out. But that being said its always gunna be AJ's Way!!! |
