When my scooter idles i can see the throttle valve move by itself like the gas is being pressed in, this causes a somewhat weird idle. It also has a somewhat sticking throttle, when i press it in and release the throttle it stays at the rpm's for a few seconds before it comes down back to idle.
The idle screw doesn't do anything.
What could be the problem?

Hello,
Thanks for the reply but i have a manual fuel valve not a vacuum one.
So i don't have the same setup as in the video. I still can't find the cause to this.

sounds to me like you have too little slack in your throttle cable keeping some tension allowing it to sort of retract slightly

I guess cleaning the carburetor would also help with the other problems. Do you have any idea why it doesn't do anything when i turn the idle control screw?

If the throttle valve as you call it ,,is the vacuum operated slide and is controlled by the vacuum demand of the engine and moves up and down with vacuum pulses

I only have experience with normal carbs so i didn't know that. It's weird that it doesn't respond to the idle screw. I'll take a picture of the carburetor this evening.

Ah Ha thats what I figured from your description. are adjusting the Idle screw or the Mixture Screw?

I'm adjusting the mixture screw but it doesn't do anything.
I've also checked the inlet manifold but it's metal on the inside so it can't leak there.
